I created an animation of a pages flipping open from a magazine. What I’m trying to achieve is the appearance of the pages going out of focus as they get “closer” to you. Is there a way to create a box blur that you can change the properties on i.e. on the outer edges there’s less blur and the center there’s more). All the pages, as they animate, are in the same Z axis, so I wasn’t sure if using a camera would help. Any ideas? Thanks.

Compound Blur does exactly what you want. Other than that of course any lensblur plugin that can be fed with a greyscale map is alos usable (including the lensblur in AE 7 Pro)
