    In illustrator, when you have straight path, line segment, etc, and you want to curve it to make an arc, what method do you use? In Freehand you could just use the subselect tool; but I can’t figure it out in Illustrator.

    You must use the convert anchor point tool and drag from the end points of the path to convert them in bezier points. But I guess the best thing, if you need a curved line, is to draw it curved from the begining.
