    I have kind of a newb question, and I hope it’s not like a small child’s “Why is the sky blue?” questions… (-;

    Whenever I’m using CURVES in PHOTOSHOP, I notice that the diagonal spline allows you to add, and adjust, about two nodes maximum… before unnaturalness begins to creep into your picture.

    Add one or two nodes, and your picture seems to benefit from your tweaks…. but add a third one, and your picture starts taking on noticeable artificiality, or undesirably “milky” or flat regions.

    What’s up with this?

    Signed, David
