Curved screens for photos or video…how is this done?

Put your footage in a precomp that’s bigger than the footage and apply CC Cylinder to the precomp.

“Easily” done with CC Cylinder (or Boris) and careful planning and execution of precomps within the main layer to which the Cylinder filter is applied.
The smooth moves, composite modes, metal effects, and the blue frames around the images all add to the elegance of the visual package but there’s nothing unusual about the effects in use that I can see.

Hmmmm….I have used CC cylinder….but I didn’t think that would do the job. Now that I think of it though, I guess depending on how big the precomp is, it just might work. It would have to be significantly larger than the footage being used to only give it a slight curve…but it just might work. Thanks…I’ll try it out tonight!
