I have a title shot that I’m using a “Jaws” or curtain wipe to come out of at the tail end. But instead of the wipe wiping OVER the shot, I’d like the wipe to PUSH the shot to both sides. Can’t seem to find it in my FCP 4.5 transition selection. Does it exist, or do I need to look elsewhere? Thank you. – Rob

Maybe I’m misreading your description, but it sounds more like like a split slide or push than like a wipe.

No, it’s the same thing. A split slide will curtain OVER the image. I’d like the image to split, and then push the entire image to the wides, like an actual curtain. The effect I want is for the image to move to the sides WITH the wipe.
