Current Stable version of Quicktime?

So quicktime asked me to upgrade to 7.7 today…well after downgrading all the way to 7.4.1 which seems to be working well with all my Adobe apps…what is the community experience to date with Quicktime updates…
Is 7.7 stable?

I believe there was a compatability issue with it, but that Apple fixed that problem with an additional update within a couple of weeks. I think that was 7.7
