April 13, 2014 at 1:25 pmPeter, as with many others, we’re looking to upgrade to 2 new iMacs to serve as editing & AE workstations. I’m currently on a hackintosh and the GFX card work in Premiere but not in AE. Question, will the GeForce 780 in the new iMacs work with CS6? Even if we have to hack the text file, that’s fine, but everything I’ve seen says CC, what about CS6? If it does work in Premiere for GPU acceleration, will it work in AE with 3D ray trace?
With our current hackintosh, the text file hack only works in Premiere and not AE. Since the new machine pros are pricey, and many post facilities using new iMacs, I’d like to move over to them, but also wants gnu acceleration to work with the 780 cards. What are my options?
Apprecitate any thoughts?
