  Cuda 4000 in MacPro / not recognized by PPro / SOLVED

  Hi there,

  I just installed a Quadro 4000 in my MacPro, installed the latest drivers from the Nvidia website, but for some reason PPro 5.5 doesn´t give me the option to switch to GPU accelerated playback in the project menu.
  Any suggestions?

  MacPro Quad 2.66
  12GB Ram
  Blackmagic Extreme HD 3D
  Quadro 4000
  Sonnet Raid
  MacOS 10.6.8

  SOLUTION: you need to install the Cuda driver, too – which is not part of the driver package, but an additional piece of software.
