I want to create a logo made up of cubes that are neatly organized in rows to form a logo, just like in this image, which was created in Cinema 4D on the hypa.tv website:

    https://www.hypa.tv/tims/hypaallie.html

I think an old plugin called Allie was used and it’s no longer available. So I’m trying to do it with a Mograph cloner.

Is there a better way? It’s easy enough to use a Cloner in Object mode and set the Object to be my logo but I can’t figure out how to get them to form the nice neat organized rows.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can do the same thing with Mograph. You would set up a cloner in grid mode so it covers the whole pattern, then control visibility and scaling of the clones with the Shader Effector.

    Thank you for your reply!

I’m a little bit confused as to how I would do that though…
