How much is the light loss (stops) with a normal CTB 3200->5500 filter?

According to GamProducts (maker of GamColor gels): 1.7 stops.

Just in case you mean a color conversion filter for use on a camera lens, rather than a full CTB gell mounted on a lighting instrument, Tiffen states their 80A & 80B blue filters result in a 2 stop light loss.
