October 31, 2012 at 6:57 pmNot yet Walter and I doubt I will unless there is ample speed/feature improvements. Installing a new OS is one of the many ‘last things’ I look forward to.

December 16, 2012 at 12:48 amWell, I just installed Windows 8 and CS6 crashes repeatedly, the moment I attempt to open a project.
Anyone have any additional news on this yet?
Eric

January 13, 2013 at 5:27 amAre you missing the msvcrt10.dll file? it has to go into the windows/syswow64 directory
I recently purchased a new laptop with win 8 (I hate it) reloaded my cs6, had to add the msvcrt10.dll and it works fine EXCEPT no plugins will show up under filters (they were working in CS6 under win 7)

March 4, 2013 at 5:26 pmI have had nothing but problems with windows 8. The computer shuts down when using multi processing in after effects sometimes but not always. Sometimes it shuts down while rendering a project and sometimes while I am working on a project. Project renders fine with multi processing turned off but then shuts down hours later for “memory dump error”. Never had that problem with windows 7, and no hardware changes have been made. All drivers are up to date. I am going back to windows 7, can’t afford to waste my time.
