I’m trying to make my own Universal Studio logo intro but it seems that the shine from the “Light Burst” it’s limited by a dark square. I’ve tried different picture size, different compositions as well but i can’t find any solution to get rid of that square or make it bigger so my effects can be shown further ahead. If anyone knows how to fix this PLEASE help me i’m really trying to be my best with this program.

Can’t see from the screen shot but my suspicion is that the Precomp layer is square and what your’e seeing is the layer boundary.

If you see in the screenshot, around the globe the shine comming from the continents is supposed to be extended longer into the screen, but that small black square frame around the globe doesn’t let the shine effect be seen completly.

the problem i’m trying to solve is the small square around the globe(earth). The shine comming from the continents are supposed to be longer & extended forward aside out the screen, but if you look closely the end part of the shines comming from the continents cannot be seen further because a small square frame is blocking it.

Hi — precomp the earth and make sure the precomp is the same size as the main comp – not the size of the earth.

Apply raye to new precomp — this will probably sort it….

    All the best ——chris

it seems that the problem might only be the Ligjt Burst effect, other effects go ahead further to the screen except the Light burst. Any suggestions to fixing that?
