Activity Forums Adobe After Effects CS6: “reload footage” works differently

  • CS6: “reload footage” works differently

I often use AE to look at animations rendered in LW. I’ll launch and setup the comp in AE while the render is completing from LW.

In my old AE7, RELOADING the footage would update the # of rendered frames in both the Project Window AND the Timeline.

It seesm this has changed in AE CS6: while the total length of the layer is longer, the newer frames are not displayed, and the timeline bar, while longer, is also “hollow”.

I don’t like this workflow. How do I get the footage layer to update with the newly rendered frames displayed?

    Thanks.
