    I don’t have any buttons…

    I don’t understand this.

And a pic where the buttons media should be:

We’ve been told on the Adobe forums that the CS6 library is not yet available, and will be available very soon by download.

Very oddly, the Encore 5.1 library is deleted when CS6 is installed.

Also, they are returning to the method where a very minimal library is installed from disk, and the regular library is installed from the functional content disk – except it ain’t there.

So for now, copy from/point to an older version. If you haven’t installed CS6, copy your 5.1 to a safe location.

    Appreciate the update Stan.

Very lame on Adobe’s part imo.

I have the same problem but I had it with 5.5 too. Talked to Adobe support today and they had the same problem too! They said they would bump it up to higher techs and call me back tomorrow.

The complete functional content would be available as a separate download.Meanwhile, before installing the CS6 Functional content, backup your 5.1 content to a safe location and if you already have 5.1 content you could point the CS6 library to its location.

If your 5.1 is deleted while installing 6.0 content – copy the cs6 library from C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Encore CS6Library and place it at another loacation and rename it.
Now uninstall the CS6 Content and reinstall the 5.1 FC using the disc or the downloded FC you have. In this way you will recover back your 5.1 FC and can also use the 6.0 FC by pointing Encore to its location. I tried it and this works.

And this problem will no longer be faced once the downloadable full version of CS6 FC will be available

The only problem is that I can’t find it on the 5.5 disc either. The content disc just has a bunch of PDF’s in different languages but I can not find anything about extra content even though the disc is labeled “Content”.

For CS3 through CS5.5, the library installed with the program, not as functional content.

So, I think that doesn’t work I wonder if a repair install (for someone with CS5.5 still installed) would add the library back to CS5.5?

    Adobe posted this solution:https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-missing.html
I have not had a chance to try it.

I just downloaded and installed (win7 64x) and got the same results … Menu contents only, no buttons…. The Document was updated 2012-05-16 but apparently it did not solve the problems or it was not updated.
