I’m a “PP switcher” from fcp. At least I really want to. I’m in the process.

Anyway, Premiere Pro kept crashing on me. Everytime I would export whether through PP itself or through Media Manager, it would crash. Driving me crazy!!!

So I tried a lot of suggestions from you fine folks here at COW, still crashing.

Finally it seems like the problem is solved! Magic Bullet Denoiser was applied directly into a clip in the timeline. It would crash every time the export would reach that part of the timeline.
I deleted the denoiser effect off the clips and it exported fine.

Could anyone tell me why Denoiser is the problem? Its a plugin available in the “video effects” folder why would this pose a problem on export?

    Thanks,
    JR

    Hi Josh,

Denoiser is not compatible with Premiere Pro. Often, plugins for After Effects are installed in the common plugin folder and appear in Premiere when they shouldn’t.

A great denoiser for Premiere is made by Neat
