CS5 Resizing Source Footage Automatically
Hey all.
Just recently installed Premiere Pro CS5. But I think I have one small problem.
When I use source footage, depending on the video project settings, it re-sizes my video to that aspect ratio, cutting off some of the footage. Is there a way to keep this from happening?
For example, I have a few 1680×1050 clips, but when I put them on the video timeline, they are cut off at the project settings (1280×720), and in the export menu in both the source and output tabs.
If anyone knows how I can fix this it would be much appreciated.

Edit>Preferences>General… turn on “Default scale to frame size” for future imports. Right click on clips in the timeline to turn on for clips already imported.
