CS5 Rendering MPEG2 Problem: Time Sensitive
Long post short. I’m trying to render a 30 minute video in MPEG2 from a PSD Sequence, Audio File, and 1 other QT movie. It works fine on the work iMac (3.06 GHz, 4GB 1067 RAM) but when i try from my personal laptop it tries for a few minutes then says UNKNOWN ERROR (-1610153453)
My laptop is running 10.6.4 with 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 4GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM
I have a multitude of these to do, and only the iMac to utilize so I enlisted my personal laptop to help out. (I am acutely aware that this is not a desirable set up)
Any insight would be IMMENSELY helpful

Side note I should mention, I’m keeping the files on an external hard drive with a FireWire 800 connection while working from the laptop. Would that cause this?

Would you suggest trying to downgrade back to 10.6.3 for the time being?

Hmmmm, I haven’t really experienced any issues like that. Only the render problem. But I’m going to stick with what you mentioned, it seems like that’s doing the trick.

try to render without the audio, if it works then export the audio (wav) then mux with tsmuxergui

Follow up status report. I tried rendering with turning OpenGL on, which I thought was standard, and everything’s working fine again.
