I’m using Encore CS5 to build a small size Blu-ray Image .ISO file, and then burn it to DVD5. I’ve done this successfully with 24fps footage, but with 60fps footage I’m getting really bad motion blur.

So the footage in my timeline is 1280×720 59.94fps H.264-Blu-ray.

In project settings, everything looks correct and matches my footage. However, I noticed under File->Quality Settings, it was set to MPEG2 Blu-ray at 23.97 1280×720. When I change these settings to H.264/59.94 to match my footage in the timeline and hit OK, it appears to save it only while the window is open. As soon as I close the window or build the Blu-ray image, it reverts to the default settings of MPEG-2 and 23.97fps. I’m guessing this is creating the motion blur which I can’t seem to get rid of.

Why won’t the quality settings allow me to match the project settings??

    Thanks,

    B3N

You can’t apply the changes you make to a preset until you save the preset. Then your encoding settings will be available for use. Set the asset to transcode using the new/changed preset.
