  CS5 Memory allocation

  I am running CS5 AE v10.0 on OS X10.5.8 . 2×2.66 Quad Core w 16GB of ram!
  Still running slow even when just updating windows. I have played with several settings for memory allocation: right now 3GB reserved, 2CPU’s other apps, RAM allocation per background CPU 3GB.

  Any other suggestions? I had it at 2GB per CPU, was running slow, now trying 3GB.
