Am I the only one still having performance issues with my Kona Lhe and Premiere CS5 even with the new drivers? It’s LIGHTNING outside of Kona presets, but put it in an AJA sequence and the thing just slugs along. Scrubbing is extremely painful.

Anyone experiencing the same? I show no conflicts, it’s in the right slot, etc…

    Is decklink the only solution?

    Chris,

Try giving our techs a call and they can help you through this. Be prepared to give them details about your project and system setup. Some things to tell them up front would be your system hardware specs, project resolution/framerate, types of media you’re using, and the exact version of AJA drivers you’re using.

AJA and Decklink both work Awesome in FCP. I prefer AJA in terms of support.
Premiere Pro is great but even on the Mac, too much issues with I/O cards.

I’m getting crashes to desktop as soon as I launch CS5. Not sure if it’s the new Mac drivers or not.

I’ve tried over and over to get CS5 and kona3 to work with no luck whatsoever.
    i don’t think anyone has.
