I am running AE CS5. When I try to open projects already created (either in CS5 or older) I get an error message and a crash.
    The error message is:

“After Effects error: Not enough memory to initialize PSL.”

    I have 6GB installed.

I did try that, did not work. Still getting the same error message.
I tried all type of memory settings combinations. Disk cache on, off etc.
Either way, causes a crash. any suggestions?

Restart your computer. If that doesn’t work, try trashing your AE preferences (hold Ctrl-Alt-Shift while launching the program).

    Updating the OS fixed it.
