CS5 Decklink codecs / file formats
Preparing to get CS5, and to upgrade from Decklink Extreme (SD) to HD Extreme 3.
Now that Premiere Pro supports so many formats natively, I’m wondering what formats the HD/2k Decklink will support for realtime previews?
Aside from uncompressed, MJPG and DV, and previously a couple of image sequence formats, will we now be able to use formats like DPX in realtime?
PPro CS5 can use DPX natively and the AJA boards already supported realtime playback of DPX files.
I’d rather stick with Blackmagic if I can….
