managed to hack premiere 5.0 exported to mpeg dv and avi. both worked fine.used mercury engine but with preview checked.probably faster.
Now I will try exporting to HDV. If that works then I will hold onto 460 card.Footage is from Z5/Z7 on DV tapes recorded in HDV.

perhaps do a clean install when I after I have exported important projects. -

You might want to scrub the timeline and look for dropouts, footage ingested from tape from time to time can contain dropouts which can cause you grief. -

I managed to hack GTX 460 on CS5 version 5.0 but when updated to ver 5.0.3 – then apllied the hack-it does not work? followed intructions carefully as well. -

After numerous problems withgtx 460, i upgrade to certified gtx 470. But this is worse. PP crashes / freezes. Windows service pack 1 also installed. anti virus disableed.latest drivers for 470.
I hope someone has a solution. Giving up with cs5. will go back to cs4 or een cs3. Never had any issues with cs3.
