    CS4 won’t capture my Z1

    Hi there!

    I’ve got a Sony Z1 and CS4. Since recently my Premiere won’t capture material. It says it’s capturing but it doesn’t. Once in a while, when I rewind a bit, hit play and immediately afterwards on Rec it works. But that’s not quiet stable and definitely not working as it should be.

    I’ve tried switching firewire cables… but that wasn’t it. Do you guys have any idea?

    I’ll try to help….

    What format are you trying to capture in, DV or HDV? Have you changed any settings recently?

    For DV, the settings that work consistently for me are:
    VCR HDV/DV: auto
    Component: 1080i/480i
    i.Link Conv: on

    For HDV:
    VCR HDV/DV: HDV
    Component: 1080i/480i
    i.Link Conv: Off
