CS4 Starting documents with transparency as alpha
Hello,
When I first started using PS, all my documents used the transparency as the alpha channel. What I exported to .tga or .png was what I saw in PS.
Now for some reason, there is no alpha in my new docs and creating it is a bit confusing and difficult (not to mention time wasting).
Is there anyway to get PS back to the way I am used to? I think it must have been the default behavior that I messed up.

When you start a new document, select transparent for background.

Yeah I obviously I tired that first, but it does not solve the problem.

LOad Video Actions in the Actions panel
Map the Alpha channel action to a F key
Save as a TIFF with transparency (layered file)
