I’ve produced several 30 second commercials, rendered them in Premiere and playback of the timeline is flawless but when I try to export them, Media Encoder does not encode the transitions. It’s like it pulls all the transitions out of the project and just shows the rough cuts. And I’ve tried a variety of different settings and export options and all of them end up with the same results.

    Hello,

have you updated Adobe Premiere pro cs4? Does this only happen with cross dissolves, I know in the first few verisons of cs4 when you exported the cross dissolve would be seen as a cut, and the work around was to add opacity handle keyframes. In a later Adobe update for cs4 it was fixed so that you could add the cross dissolve and not get the jump cut instead of the fade.

    Hope that helps.

I am actually running the latest version of the software, but in my haste to solve the issue I didn’t exactly play around to determine the full nature of the problem (I was close to deadline on a few commercials). It only seems to happen with transitions from the GPU Trnasitions bin and from a third party plugin VideoFX. These have worked for me in the past so I am at a loss as to why they have suddenly stopped working. I haven’t updated any drivers or software in a while.
