    Hey Guys…

I have been using encore CS4 to author DVD’s recently, and found the SWF output very handy and a great way to preview the disk to the client.

However I have just made another disk, in the same style as previous and using the same encoding settings for the MPEG files etc, and it appears that the SWF output always appears corrupted.

I have tried 2 machines with no luck on either, the result is a blocky almost mpeg compression like error on both f4v or flv output.

The actual authored dvd is perfect when built, its simply the swf output that seems to cause a problem.

Any help or suggestion would be great.

You might be using a low quality preset. The video may appear pixelleted in high motion frames. It seems that you are exporting a small size video whose bitrate is low. try with high quality presets of bigger frame size.
