CS4 Export keyframe rate 0?
Hello beloved Cow Community,
I’ve got a 12 min short film shot in 1080/24p (didn’t use 24PA, next time- hpx170). Starting to do some render tests and the best size/quality/smooth playback settings for me so far has been WMV.
I’m curious if my settings are overkill:WMV 9 Advanced, CBR 2-pass, 1920×1080, 24fps, square pixels, 10,000 kbps
Keyframe rate: 0
buffer size: unchecked. My question is, if my keyframe rate is 0, does that mean every frame is a KF? The next lowest value is 1, and I’ve had bad experiences with a KFR of 1 in that the video will pulse every second as a new keyframe is displayed. Also had similar experiences with VBRs. Perhaps my datarate is a bit high, though if I turn it down too much, I start to see aliasing and pixelation… sigh. Also, what’s the deal with the buffer size? should I engage it or not?
Thanks for your input,
Josh
