    Help Please,

I have just finished editing a wedding on PPRo CS4 and need to render it to DVD. But, the new Adobe Media Encoder doesn’t start encoding. It says “Loadding xyz.pproj” and hangs ther for long time. I have been using CS3 with out any problem and I just installed CS4 last week. I need to deliver this wedding video very in a couple of days. The bad thing is I can’t open the project in CS3. Any advice would be much appreciated.

What file type are you trying to encode?
    Is this in HD?
    How long is the video?

If I know this I might be able to help.

Deinstall CS4 and CS3, run clean script CS4 and CS3 a couple of times and then reinstall just CS4.

    Thanks Ann for responding,

I have done what you suggested. The same problem exist. I’m getting very frustrated as I am afraid that I might do a two hour wedding proj over again on CS3. Any help would be very appreciated.

    Thanks,

How long are you waiting? Sometimes ME can take a while. Short projects usually are easier, but I’ve heard waits as long as an hour.
