    Ok.

In short: How can I import a Premiere project into After Effects WITHOUT Dynamic Link? I want the project to be imported with all the files and sequences so that I can see the edits and still change things. Like in CS3.

    Long story:
My workflow for some heavy Visual-FX projects with a lot of editing looks like this: I import all my footage I need (let’s say I want to make a showreel of my stuff) into after effects and put it all into one timeline, one clip after the another. Than I export this timeline as a DV-File with the exact same length.
Then I open the DV file and edit it like I want in Premiere.
Then I switch back into AE and import the Premiere project into my AE project and replace the used DV file with the High Quality AE Comp I had. Then I can still make some adjustments to the cut (for example some transitions which didn’t came well from Premiere). At last I export the final cut into my desired format – with AE.
The good thing about this is that I can edit really fast and can render the final movie without any re-compressing.

But now, when I want to import my Premiere sequence I just can do it as a dynamic link. And this sucks.

    Any help for me? Please!
    I really would appreciate it!
    Thanks

Solved: You have to use the AE Menue “File -> Import -> Adobe Premiere Pro Project…” instead of dragging it in or double-clicking onto the project window like in CS3.

I leave it there if others get the same problem. If you don’t mind.

    Sorry
