  CS4 Can’t Change speed and opacity–same clip

  When I change the speed of a clip I am unable to then change the opacity. Although I move the keyframes as if I am changing the opacity it does change in the preview screen (or when I render the project)…must be a fix as there is def a way to use both effects simultaneously. Please help, thanks
