  CS3 Stuttering video

  So I’ve had CS3 on my system for a couple years I guess, but never used it. (came as part of Adobe Creative Suite) I have another NLE I prefer to work with. We are acquiring a new system (and a producer) that will have CS5, so I thought I would brush up and figure out CS3 Premier Pro.

  Dropped a 30 second SD clip into a sequence and it stutters like crazy. Cursor Lags when you drag it, and I can almost not play the clip without it stopping. I’m guessing I have a setting wrong, but I’m not sure what to look for.
  Any help would be appreciated.

  Dual 3.2 Quad core Intel
  8GB ram
