CS3 Production Premium
I’m sorry to bang on about this, but it’s such a massive price difference and even the resellers are twisting my melon man…
I have CS1 & CS2 (they were upgrades from PS7 I think) and I want CS3 Production Premium – Adobe say I don’t qualify for the full discount, one reseller says my CS2 serial will work fine but another isn’t sure…
Does anyone have actual experience of upgrading from this position?

If you go to Adobe’s production studio web page, you’ll find an upgrade table. I believe there *is* an upgrade path to Production Studio from either.

I think you need a “suite” serial number to upgrade to prod premium software. Your stand-alone numbers won’t work.
I have several copies of all the software in the older “suite” package but since I’ve been an adobe customer since the early 90’s I’ve always upgraded my stand-alones. For those who don’t know it’s a $400 penalty to upgrade non-suite software.
Have no idea why adobe wants more money from customers who bought all of their products prior to the marketing geniuses arrival. Maybe it’s just because they can.
