CS3 Exporting Issues
Hello!
I’m looking for some help with some exporting issues I have been experiencing. I have used PPro for the past eight years or so, and have just switched over to the Mac version. I’m running an new MacBook Pro.
I am editing .mov files and then exporting them, but when I export, there is a definite lack of quality. It looks slightly pixilated but it also looked like it was an interlacing issue. I’ve never had to deinterlace on the PC before. I tried deinterlacing the footage and that helped slightly, but the file was still not clear and a bit jerky.
I have tried exporting to .mov with several different codecs (h.264, sorenson, etc.), exporting direct to DVD, and exporting to media encoder, all of which produced the same results.
The original footage looks good (I can pull it into my PC and export with no problems) so I don’t think the issue is there.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve contacted Adobe, but since we’re a church and had non-profit pricing, it doesn’t come with tech support and they won’t help without a yearly fee(!).
I’m extremely frustrated and would love any help at all – I’m willing to try anything at this point!
