    Hi…

    Just doing some workflow testing…

Placed a few marked clips on a timeline

Project Manger: Create Trimmed project, Make offline enabled, exclude unused clips enabled

PPro still copies media, new project still has all old clips entries (even unused ones) and does not actually trim the project…

Was this a known bug in CS3? I’m using 3.2.0.

    Thanks,

    Alex

Not sure, but there may be an issue with trimming long GOP file formats.

    Hi Eric….

Can you give it a shot with DV?

    I think that’s what I tried with…

BTW….I think it did exclude the unused sources…

But it trimmed nothing…and made nothing offline.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Hi, Alex,

Sorry for the delay. It seems to work for me. I had to select “create new trimmed project” instead of the default “Collect files and copy to new location” (which copied untrimmed clips). I’m on CS3/Matrox Axio. The source material was DV.

    Hi Eric…

ok…perhaps I’m simply crazy….I can’t believe I would have done it wrong in the 3 rimes I tried it, but maybe I did….OR my material is not DV (or framed based media)…I’ll triple check.

Thanks for your help so far.

    Alex
