CS3 crashes loading specific project only..
Trying not to eat a bullet on this one, but I’m close!
Have a project that gives me the “Adobe needs to close error” when I go to load it. Just this project..no others..have tried auto save..same thing..tried dumping media cache files..no luck. Saw an odd font sitting in the project files, got rid of it. I did notice that the project had disappeared from the start up “recent projects” when I went to reopen this morning, hence my trip to auto save. Also the last 5 auto saves give me the “name not valid” or do nothing when I click on them. The only thing that might have played a role is that i disconnected the drive with the scratch files and project on them and re attached at one point last night. However, there are other projects on the drive that load just fine. Any help appreciated.Don’t feel like making out a will today! -

Ive gotten that same problem before, all i did was hit ‘save as’ and saved it to a different drive, but kept all my source files in the same place and that seemed to work for me. hope it helps

Create a new project and try importing this one into it, or maybe just the sequence.
