CS3 and panasonic AD-DV2500 capture problems
I’ve got Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 running on a 2.4 GHz Core2Duo WinXP PC with 3GB RAM.
Trying to capture footage from MiniDV tapes using a Panasonic AG-DV2500 deck. Getting error messages saying either “Can’t Activate Recorder” or “Capture Device Offline.” I’m able to Play, FF, and REW through the MiniDV tape via the deck in Premiere Pro, and the footage is viewable on a studio monitor, but nothing appears in Premiere Pro, and I don’t have the option to capture the material.
Have tried powering the Panasonic unit on and off, restarting the PC, and browsing the forum for a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you use the Premiere Pro setup dialog to make it use the AG-DV2500 setting?
