I’m unable to export a QT animation file with correct alpha channel, in CS3. Please see attached. Tests using various keyers, resolutions, and source assets yield the same result. Workflow works correctly in 6.5. Why is the alpha channel larger than the key area? The comp looks correct, only the final QT anim w alpha render is messed up.

    Thanks

Did you render straight or premultiplied?
What are you using to view the movie?
How does it look when imported into the editing (?) app, not QT Player?

Thank you! All is well once imported into an app (FCP and AE). Just getting the weird thick matte halo in QT player. This artifact was never present with renders from AE 6.5 which is what had me panicked.

Straight and premultiplied looks to have the same artifact in QT player.

    Thanks for the help.
