    Hi Folks!

I have a question regarding the optimal workflow using dynamic link.
I watched some of the Adobe Tutorials on this, but they work from the perspective that you have a premiere project and want to add something you have done in AE (like inserting some grafic intro, or the like).
What I´m looking for is the best way to do some basic editing in Premiere, then enhance the footage (like color correction) in AE, switch back to Premiere and finish the project (Sound editing).
So far I noticed that when I edit some clips I can copy them, open a new dynamic link project in AE, paste the clips into the ae project, and then do the work, come back to premiere and have it as new composition.
I now would have to place the new dynamic link comp ontop of my original edit, and go on with my work.
Is there any better way to do that? What I would look for is to tell premiere to open my comp right away in AE, change things, come back, without having to replace footage, saving those copy&paste and repositioning steps.
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Cheers,
    Vik

Copying and pasting doesn’t seem to work for me at all, so I have to save my project in PP, then import it in AE, but sometimes when PP project is very long or has some AE compositions in it, AE crashes at the attempt of importing it…

But my question is how to import a small piece of PP project to AE? I’d like to edit in AE a short fragment of my PP project without having to import everything to AE. Is that possible?
