New to CS2, made the jump from Photoshop 7 to CS2, I can’t figure out how to select a shape on transparent layer. In earlier version I only had to click on the layer in the layer windows while holding the CTRL key down, to get the desired selection This no longer works !

    Any suggestion ?

    Many thanks for advice.

If I understand your question…just right-click the layer’s thumbnail and click Select Layer Transparency. Which is ironic because it doesn’t really select the layer’s transparency, but rather the inverse of the transparency.
