crossgrade error – can’t see card
I recently crossgraded to 5.1 and FCP will no longer open existing projects (General Error 41) and my preferences are all gone. Also, none of the Kona card set-ups are listed in the easy set-up window, but they were before the crossgrade. Has anyone else out there been through this? thanks for any help.

go back search the forum and read some of the older posts – all of your filters and drivers will do better if you install the latest versions especially if you are now working on an intel mac.
None of your setting are there because the drivers were not intel compatible would be my guess

Thanks, Gary. After checking for software updates, my old projects came back to life – huge relief. still can’t get the AJA KONA 2 presets up in the easy set-up menu and I have checked the show all box.

Uninstall then reinstall the latest kona drivers from their website.
