Anyone have a suggestion for a good cross-platform video codec that will run in PowerPoint for Mac as well as PowerPoint for PC? Client wants to embed a video clip into a PowerPoint that will run on both Mac and PC.

.mov and .wmv are out of the question. I usually use MPG-1 for cross-platform video… does that sound about right to you?

Thanks in advance for your help — Jerry

Yes, MPEG-1 is the way to go. Either that or an RGB AVI, but I would still recommend MPEG-1.
