    Cross-convert 24PN master?

    Greetings. Tried to ask this question before, maybe not clearly enough:

    If we shoot 24PN to maximize record time on P2 cards, and our ultimate deliverables are:

    1) 24P video projection at festivals
    2) 35mm film
    3) broadcast

    What will be the best mastering format, and will we be able to cross-convert later to broadcast specs without hurting our image?

    The Kona3 (if you are using FCP) will cross convert 720p23.98 to 1080psf 23.98 or 1080i 29.97 with a click of a button. You can also down convert as well.

    All of these can be done with excellent results.

    1080psf 23.98 on HDCAM, HDCAM SR or D5 would be the format of choice..With this you can convert to anything.
