    I am using Compressor 3.0.2.

When I encode from an DVCProHD 720p (1280 x 720) 23.98 to an H264 with a crop of 128 on both the right and the left the result is aliasing in my image. My resulting image is 1024 x 720, which is the size I want. If I leave the crop off there is no aliasing in the H264.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

You might have cropped to 1024×720 but are you displaying (playing) it at 1024×720?

In other words have you resized your output frame to match your crop?

    Hey, Daniel.

    I’m just playing the 1024 X 720 in Quicktime.

    George.

What frame size does it report in the Quicktime player?

Get that info by pressing the Apple Key and ‘I’

Not sure then unless you’re not using square pixels on your output.
