Cropping characters from Anime
Hello. I want to crop characters from Anime and I need help. I tried cropping with mask in after effects CS6, it took long time but cropped character was looking disgusting. Is there any other/easy way to crop it. Also please send me exact video tutorial if you know where to find it. Thanks for the help and sorry for my bad English

Can you provide a sample?
Are you talking about an animation or still image?There are many ways to extract a foreground from the background but it really depends on the clip or image.

Are you trying to stabilize and crop the character?
Or follow the edge of the character and cut him out in detail?From the sounds of it you’re trying to do something relatively difficult for someone new to after effects. Those animation sequences usually have a high rate of change so the odds are you’ll have to cut the character out frame by frame using masks.
Please provide at least a single frame of the animation for further feedback.

Sorry my English is bad So I don’t really understand some words from your message but you are right about ” cut the character out frame by frame using masks”. I am doing exactly as you said. I am moving mask every second of the video.
