Cropping a Still Image for use in Premiere Pro

You may want to use 720X534 if it is NTSC.

But any size smaller than 4000X4000 should work fine.

Thanks Steven. Do you ever use the 720×480 NTSC DV preset in Photoshop? If so, how do you recommend using it?

So far I have tried it out by creating a new, blank document using the NTSC preset (which has the 0.9 pixel aspect ratio) then selcting & copying my still image (with a square pixel ratio) and pasting it into the blank NTSC preset document. Then I begin working with that new image to prepare it for my video. Will that give me the same size image that I get when just cropping an image with a square pixel ratio to the 720×534 that you recommended?

In the newer versions of Photoshop, you can use the 720X480 setting using 0.9 PAR – works fine.
