Crop canvas to contents?
Is there a way to crop the canvas (or comp) to the contents in AE CC?
I’ve created some animation and design on the main timeline then created a pre comp however since I’m working in 4k it created a comp that was the size of my video and my design/animation is only about 1k width and height. When I resize the canvas all of my design and animation isn’t on the canvas anymore so if I move it all over then my animations and positions will be off.

You can draw a region of interest around the area that you want to keep and then use the Crop Composition To Region Of Interest command.
