In Motion I put in one picture for a test. There was black space around the picture. I watched a video on croping. I cropped the picture. I went to the File Menu and shared to quicktime. The big black spaces were still there. What am I missing?

    Thank you,

One can only assume… an alpha channel?

Of course, you don’t actually say what it is you expect to see and/or be able to do with it, where you’re even viewing it and in which context, nor what you’re outputting and how, so we’re left to blindly guess. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cropping is the opposite of what you want to do. Resize, and if needed, reposition. Or change the frame size of your Motion project.
