  Croma Keying with 1080i from EX3

  Hello,
  I was just tasked with croma keying content shot on a sony ex3. Looks like the footage was shot in 1080i. Isn’t this format less than ideal vs 1080p for croma keying? Any suggestions for workflow given 1080i source and that I will need to key within FCP 7?
