Hey Guys. I have a problem that I hope someone could help me out with. My partner and I will be shooting a concert at the Fillmore in San Francisco soon. We have in the past rented motorola radios with head sets for communications with the camera men. Needless to say that with the loud music and the audience noise we could hardly make out a word that was said from anyone. What audio communications should we use? Are the Clear Comm Intercom systems any better?

    Thanks!
    Darren

Any way to find out what system NASCAR pit crews use? They’re bulky, but they work in what I would consider a rather noisy environment.

I second the Eartec. Did a show in the Masonic Center in San Francisco with the TD-900s. Although my sets came with smaller headgear, I swapped them with my dad’s old heavy-duties. Worked like a charm.
